From San Diegoâs North County city of Oceanside, a small church in a business park started to grow in membership.
Amongst the fellowship, some musicians came together from the worship team to record some original songs written by Brian Weaver, the worship leader of the congregation.
The youngest member of the band, Tommy Williams was a 27 year old drummer with a gift of unconventional rhythmic syncopation.
Together with part-time bass guitar / CD mastering engineer Brian Waddell, they hooked up with Guitar virtuoso Richard Blair, who has played & recorded with many industry players including Glenn Cornick of Jethro Tull fame.
The record was produced by Richard Blair and Brian Waddell, who go back two decades of band projects. Check out Richardâs instrumental track-9 âHighway To Idyllwildâ¦
The songs are fresh, and truly inspired.
âThe day we cut track-7, âMore Of Youâ, Iâll never forget the awesome presence we felt in the studio during the take. We all had to take a break outside after the cut. It was like the Holy Spirit was carrying us on auto-pilotâ says Brian Waddell.
More than just worship music, Brian Weaverâs clear-cutting vocals reverberate lyrics that lift the name of Jesus in a rock-influenced format.
