Orange Sherbet's main ingredients are Jill Pierce and Tamsen Fynn. They perform Family Concerts with songs about dinosaurs, elevators, sunglasses, and dump trucks. From jazz to bluegrass, blues to funk, it's sophisticated & fun! They perform Family Concerts all over The Bay Area, from The Noe Valley Ministry in San Francisco, The Bay Area Discovery Museum in Marin, to La Peña in Berkeley. They also play at parties, private events, festivals, and fairs. Writing, recording, and performing original children's music is one of their greatest joys.

Biography:
Jill Pierce owns the Bay Area division of an early childhood music program established in 1972 by Mary Ann Hall. Music for Children celebrates children & music through singing, dancing, acting, reading, playing and "doing" the music. She also studied classical & jazz singing in college and has been in her original band, JP Orbit, since high school. She plays many instruments: guitar, piano, recorder, trumpet, and the kazoo.

Tamsen Fynn has been working with children for over fifteen years, from preschoolers to preteens. She developed a love of music from her family where singing & playing guitars was the center of all gatherings. Tamsen studied classical, jazz, and gospel singing in college and has been writing, recording, and performing original music for the past ten years. She also grew up doing musical theatre, acting, and playing the sax.
