Warning: What you are about to hear on this CD is not for the weak at hip-hop heart. If you're looking for what you see and hear on BET, VH1, or MTV... click somewhere else. Quality over the quanitity.

"The lyrics and the delivery is top-notch, OJ has definitely got something to say and he knows how to bring it to you. On songs like "Rock of Ages", "Lonely Soldier", "Dark Matter" (featuring mr. Man of Bush Babees fame) and the great throwback joint "Flashbacks" OJ really forces you to listen to his words, and dope delivery."" -Spitkickers.com

After years of anticipation from fans dating back to the early '90s, Omega Johnson comes forth with his solo debut, The Blackbird. As the frontman for the classic NYC underground group Mhorlocks, OJ tore through the New York scene with consistently innovative lyrics, and the Mhorlock tradition continues here.

With production by Dok Who?! and Cenzi Stiles, and a guest appearance from family member Mr. Man of Bush Babees, Omega brings forth the missing link in hip-hop -- the hardcore and soulful witticisms reminiscent of EPMD, Public Enemy, Big Daddy Kane, and other greats of the eras from which OJ has clearly drawn his influences.

With Omega... the End is just the Beginning.
