What's the MESSAGE?

LAND OF THE GIANTS Addresses a number of pressing social issues in many of their vocal arrangements. "Land of the Giants" - Track #2 on the CD - voices frustration at the ever-increasing number of SUVs on our nation's roads and the aggressive behavior of those behind their steering wheels. "Mourning Wood" tells a brief story of a man who wakes up to realize two of the tallest trees in his urban neighborhood are being cut down. The anti-oil ditty "Drills" relates the Indonesian Sunami with plans to rip-up a Western U.S. dessert nature preserve to extract the oil beneath it's surface. And the timely "H Again" explores the notion that those who do not know History are only doomed to repeat it.

What does it SOUND LIKE?

Imagine if Gary McFarland, Hugo Montenegro, Milton Nascimento and Herbie Mann all got together with Brian Eno to make a record. What would it sound like? You may be surprised to know that none of those people were involved with O Morno! But each one of them would be totally psyched if they heard it.

Any famous quotes?

"Sounds like Eno, but not as morose" - Chris Ligon
