OK Jones puts this idea at the forefront of the band's new record âPush/Pull,â a nuanced home recording that documents the mercurial dynamics of love. Singer-songwriter Richard Gintowt heads up the Lawrence, KS collective, which calls in beaucoup reinforcements (pedal steel, trumpet, flute, upright piano, banjo, sleigh bells, etc.) to tell each story exactly as it needs to be told. Guitarist Jeff Jackson, bassist Brian Adams and rotating drummers round out the ever-evolving ensemble.
