Details:
. Notes: âVioloncello de colores 3â was born from a cello method that focuses on making the learning process easy and enjoyable. Despite the fact that it is a teaching method, CDs are designed for the public in general, and is a perfect way to identified the instrument with beautiful traditional tunes as well as to enjoy poetry with the most delicate and touching songs by the author.

Among the poets we have William Blake, Amado Nervo, José Emilio Pacheco, Antonio Machado, Verónica Murguía, and José Juan Tablada among others.

Pilar Gadea obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance from the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City and a Bachelor's Degree in Cello Performance at the the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England, under a Mexican/British scholarship. During her stay in London, she also took several different courses with Steven Isserlis and Christophe Coin, among others, and she worked with The New Theatre, touring Greece and England.
She moved to Barcelona, Spain, to work as the assistant of Lluis Claret, teaching and studying at LâEscola de Música de Barcelona and LâEscola de Música Pau Casals. During this time, she performed with Barcelona 216 and The Palauâs Chamber Orchestra. Later, she was appointed to the position of cello teacher at the Ataulfo Argentaâs Conservatory in Santander, Spain.
Upon her return to Mexico City, she played at the Mexico Cityâs Philharmonic Orchestra for two years, and currently, her musical life is dedicated to chamber music, as well as theater and dance projects.
She continues to teach at the school she founded: âViolonchelo de Coloresâ, and she has written three books of a cello method by the same name, which have had particular success in Spain, Venezuela, Colombia and recently at the U.S.A.
