Ray Saporita
A unique blend of song stylings in the genre of
Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Tony Bennett
Starting at the age of seven years, Ray Saporita began singing and performing with what was then the KYW Road Show in northeastern Ohio. Shortly thereafter, at the age of eight , and for the next twelve years, he performed as a regular on the weekly Gene Carroll Television Variety Show. During that time he recorded several records including âHerculesâ and âBaby Sitterâ. As a teen, his rock bands, âU.S.Maleâ and âThe Conventionâ released âHey There Little Miss Maryâ with Buddah Records. Along with playing the piano, Ray continued performing over the years doing various club work at lounges, supper clubs and various public and private affairs. In this new age of music and recordings, something seems to be lost in the lyric and melody. This compilation represents a return to the âstandardsâ with some of the meaningful lyrics and beautiful music that continues to endure. We hope you enjoy it!
