To This Day, is a new musical based on the 40 days after Jesus was Crucified. The play follows Pilate and Temple Scribe, Teshe, on their search for Jesus' missing body.
Pilate has deemed the missing body as a hoax and assigns, Teshe, the job of finding it.
The play opens with Jesus on the cross, Eli, Eli..Lema Sabachtani, Translated, My God, My God..why have you foresaken me...
We then move to the empty tomb, and Easter Sunday, with a full Gospel choir singing Through Him and With Him.
Pilate's lament, Why Me?, is a slow rock song that highlights Pilate's frustration.
The music continues to highlight the various events such as the apostles seeing the risen Jesus in the Upper Room, to the Temple Scribes Workplace.
The play cliamxes at the conversion of Tesh, from doubt to belief, with It Can't be True, a powerful blues solo, performed by Gospel artist, Erik Dillard.
The soundtrack highlights Gospel group Arthur Gray and High Praise Company, Chris Gray as Jesus and Gospel artist Erik Dillard as Teshe, the scribe. Members of The Columbus Symphony Orchestra perform various instruments as well as Jazz, Blues and Rock guitarist Peder Johanson.
