Once again, Chris Cole (vocals), Scott Dreher (guitar), Glen Pappas (drums) and new addition Paul DiLeo (Bass) have combined talents to create a collection of songs that combine pop sensibility with a power reminiscent of Concrete Blonde. Or, what X-Ray Star likes to call raw pop.
Scott believes the bandâs unique sound âcomes from the four of us being very open to each otherâs ideas.â With musical influences ranging from Patty Griffin to Black Sabbath, the groupâs ability to combine these influences has made Love Is Vicious some of the most interesting work yet from X-Ray Star. Glen feels these songs âare some of the best Iâve ever recorded.â And Chris agrees. âItâs the combining of influences that has made this project something I am so very proud of.â
