Sketches Vol 1-X is a series of albums from my musical sketchbook. Many of these pieces are quite raw and undeveloped, and essentially are my attempt to jot down the germ of a musical idea, with just enough detail so that I can later figure out how to  incorporate it into a larger work such as an album or film score.

Also these pieces have turned out to be useful for guiding and shaping a conversation with collaborators such as directors, music and picture editors as it's much easier to discus "that bit there" than a difficult to articulate musical thought.

Over the years quite a few people have said that they enjoyed listening to these small pieces on their own and so I've taken the step of putting them into album size collections of about 30 tracks each and making them available as online albums.

As more of the sketches are mixed, I'll be making  additional albums available.
