Rick Stephenson is a Christian singer and songwriter from Johnson Creek, WI. He was adopted at the age of 7 after being in a foster home prior to that. Even with all these troubles, Rick knew he could always count on God to heal his heart. Who would have thought that his dream of becoming an artist of this nature would finally come true. This is the road that he was supposed to have traveled and now he wants to know more as to where his dream will ultimately lead him to.

Rickâs music is about embracing what God is willing to give â a gift. âThis is a reflection that God gave us songs to enjoy and to be encouraged by themâ, states Rick. âSanctuary of My Heartâ was the first single to be released from Ricks debut CD by the same name. It is evident that Rickâs heart and generosity is spilling over into his music.

Rick Stephensonâs mission is to bring the message of God through his music. His music satisfyâs the hungry heart, blesses the tormented and awakens the lost. His next CD, âThe Reasonâ is due out early 2011.

Rick has recently won awards from the Song Door International Competition, Great Lakes Songwriting Contest and Write About Jesus. He has also had recent radio airplays of his songs âSanctuary Of My Heartâ, "You Gave", "Christmas Is Here", "God Himself" and "Christmas Is Jesus" from over a dozen US stations, a dozen international stations and several internet radio sites.
