Born Derek Ryan Robertson, Ryan has been involved with music most of his life. He and his family currently reside in Ranburne Alabama near the Georgia Alabama line. Ryan has opened for quite a few major recording artists and plays the Bluebird Café in Nashville a few times a year. He performs at a lot of shows as a solo act and also performs with his wife Missie and their three children Casey, Emily & Riley as The Ryan Robertson Family.
The original materials that you will hear on this CD are created by the Lackey (Jerry Lee Lackey) / Robertson writer's team with the exception of the title song "Little Yellow Seeds" which was written by Ryan and Nashville's Mike Chapman of Mike Chapman Music. Jerry Lackey is one of those incredible writers possessing a special way of putting words together like never before. Mike Chapman is an excellent writer and sessions bass player in Nashville. Mike has played on many famous hit songs and due to his high ratings, he made an issue of Bass Player Magazine.
