Details:
Born out of a need to make music of their own, RoofTop Four creates music with a unique perspective of the world around them. The soul of their music brings out an innovative and eclectic blend of sounds spanning American roots and jams to Latin, Arabic and Indian grooves. RoofTop Four consists of the dude of oud, Yousef Saádeh, East Bay bass boss, Tomanonymous and the hotrod duke of uke, Andy Rodgers combined with renowned multi-percussionist, Rami âfingertipsâ Ziadeh.

San Francisco native and now Sonoma County troubadour, Yousef Saádeh, has been immersed in a mix of culture ever since his Palestinian mother unknowingly turned him on to Willie Nelsonâs On the Road Again. Yousef concentrated on guitar yet quickly developed an affinity for various world instruments. His musical styles range from bluegrass, country and rock to Latin and Arabic music. After many years in a number of live bands and recording projects, many with an âanonymousâ bass player, Yousef moved north and recorded his first solo record â14 miles east of nowhereâ.

Born in Jordan, Rami began studying Dombeck at the age of 3 and by the age of 10, was performing live with Middle Eastern dance groups. Rami plays percussion with a unique style that combines Middle Eastern finger techniques with a variety of traditional grooves. His style has earned him the nickname âfingertipsâ from Bonnie Raitt.

The bass player prefers to remain anonymous. With nearly 20 years of experience, Tomanonymous has an eclectic style derived from punk rock, jazz, and rock roots. In addition, Tomanonymous is a song writer and recording artist with his own full length album titled "I am Be".

Adding spice to it all, the fiery Duke of Uke, Drew Rodgers, has been playing guitar and singing with bands all over the stylistic map, including funk, rock, jazz and country. He has been writing and performing his own music for over twenty years and more recently the Duke has caught the ukulele bug.

With combined musical experience of over 80 years⦠RoofTop is Hoppinâ Gypsy Twang.
