I am a work in progress that began in jan. of 1994 when I was a mess and I had to have a transformation in my mind and through that transformation the Lord has been changing my heart slowly. The second song on this album" So I can be Abel" is my comprehension of John 12:24-25 God is trying to get us to conform to His holy standard and he shows us that standard in Jesus. We must die to our selfish nature and yes this is a process that is not achieved intellectually but only by The Holy Spirit working through and in us. We must first admit that we can't do this on our own and receive jesus into our hearts by faith. Then He can start conforming us into His image as we weew meant to be before the fall and sin entered in. Yes we are all born into sin with a nature that is rebellious, selfish and this is why we must be born again to be able to enter the kingdom of heaven. Pause and think on this as you listen to this music.
