Billboard raves:
"The element that ultimately sets Anthony apart is a staggeringly high and powerful tenor range that dwarfs the vocal potency of his stylistic mentors."

The New York Post says:
"John Anthony is a kid with a voice. On his solo debut he displays a wide range of styles - and he has command of them all.."

With powerful vocal abilities and talent for writing melodic hooks, John Anthony enters the Pop/AC arena with undeniable force. His debut album What A Man Can Do was created from his heart & soul with a dynamic mix of romantic ballads and passionate rock songs that will captivate listeners with their infectious styling.

The subtle influences of the artists that inspired his music career -- from Styx to Streisand, Mathis to Mercury, Joel to McCartney, can now be heard throughout John's first full length solo album. From his basement in upstate New York, John's early forays into music consisted of turning up the stereo and mimicking the singers that resonated from the speakers. Singing in the dorm halls at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY, John's friends were treated to his soulful sounds and encouraged him to try out for the local cover band. From the first time on stage, he was attracted to the energy of performing and the impact it made on the crowd.
