I purchased my first guitar when I was 13 years old. I delivered newspapers and saved my earnings for a year to purchase the hand crafted Guild 28-D guitar with Brazilian rosewood body and Sitka spruce top. I wrote my first song at 14. My mother wept when I sang it. I am a self-taught musician.

Music has been a big part of my life. In 1990 at the ripe old age of 39, I began writing songs in earnest. My music muse made a grand entry into my life and insisted on my utter obedience and devotion. What happened next still amazes me. Making music became an obsession. I wrote and recorded 4 to 6 hours almost daily, and created an average of ten albums a year from 1990-2000.

I began collecting instruments, and learning how to play them, and explored electronic and midi instruments and sequencers as well. I am the sole musician and vocalist on these multi-track recordings.

My lyrics reflect a deepening spiritual awakening that accompanied this outpouring of more than 1,000 compositions. This all consuming passion was a gift that I kept to myself. I was too swept up by the process to think beyond the song writing.
I never thought to perform these songs or to make a commercial production.

In the year 2000 my music muse let me know that the end of my âsong cycleâ was near.

My life took an abrupt turn then, and I moved to Brazil and began a completely different lifestyle. I sold all my musical equipment to finance the move.

A few years ago I once again acquired recording equipment. After a five year hiatus my muse returned, more passionate than ever, and fourteen new albums later there is no indication she plans to leave. In fact, she loves Brazil!

With the advent of mpeg files and web distribution of music, an opportunity is now open for me to share my music with others. This is my debut.
