Linda Lucas has been a songwriter since 1974. This album is an accident. It was intended to be a single song, inspired by a plaque dedicated to Bill Mason on Old Woman Bay. It grew into an album centered around this celebrated Canadian icon. The style is simple: generally one voice, one guitar. Guests such as the late Stanley Mark Herr of Blue Skies and Donna Creighton, formerly of the Sirens, make appearances-- Mark on lead guitar and Donna on recorder and background vocals. Linda plays at various clubs in and around London Ontario.
