In this follow up the his Blue Groove album, David Wells takes us deeper into the raw emotional power of the blues and into his twisted, funny side with songs such as PMS, Crazy (no, really crazy for you), Insignificant Other, etc. His song writing and guitar playing are superb. His singing is backed by Jessica Purse and Hussain Jiffry, both of whom toured with Sergio Mendez among others.

The band is composed of some of the best jazz and blues-rock players in Los Angeles. You can hear the fun they had in creating this album. Tom Brechtlein (credits with Robben Ford, Chick Chorea, Al Di Meola, etc.) lays solid grooves on the drums. Hussain Jiffry (played with Whitney Houston, Carol King, Michael Bolton, etc.) pushes the envelope on the bass. Russell Ferrante (founder of the YellowJackets, plays with Lee Ritenour, Bobby McFerrin, etc) on keyboards and new on this album, a horn section comprised of trombonist Wendall Kelly (played with Stevie Wonder, the Rippingtons, Lionel Richie, Temptations, Luther Vandross, Herbie Hancock), trumpeter Mike McGuffey (Dizzy Gilespie, Temptations, Fifth Dimension) and Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Rick Rossi (Brian Setzer, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Cher, Stanley Clarke, Tommy Dorsey) fill out the sound.
