In a folk-inspired metal world invaded by Norsemen, mead and trolls, Windfaerer travels a different course, offering an atypical perspective. Windfaerer was conceived by main songwriter M. Gonçalves in order to pay tribute to his Luso-Hispanic heritage. The music is inspired by the history, myths and landscapes of the Iberian Peninsula.

Windfaererâs music is fast, melodic, epic, relentless, emotive and above all, metal. The band stays true to being first and foremost a metal band, while still glowing with a folkloric edge. The lyrics are introspective, yet place the listener in a world of ancient Romans and Celtiberians.

After unleashing their dominating 2-song demo, Glorybound, to the masses, Windfaerer have started to bombard the metal world with their intense debut full length Tribus. The band is currently mobilized for live actions to support Tribus and is determined to carve their name in the realm of metal. This tale has just begun...
