Grammy nominated & NAMMY award winning composer Rob Wallace at age nine began playing the organ which sharpened his ears for manipulating sounds into new musical forms. He built his first recording studio in 1964 and branched out into composing music for film, radio, and television. He is one of the leading developers of music for educational computer games and multi-media products including CD-Roms and he earned the MAC Eddy award for Best Children's Educational Music and Sound for O'Dell down Under. Wallace composed the music tracks for Grandeur, The American Southwest an interactive art museum that features Cody on the cedar flute.

Robert Tree Cody of Dakota-Maricopa heritage has appeared throughout the United States, Canada Korea, Japan, Central & South America and Europe as a flutist & singer and dancer. He is a prize winning traditional dancer and is well known on the pow-wow circuit. Tree has performed before the Queen of England.

All songs on White Buffalo are original compositions, some motifs are drawn from the ancient musical literature and are given a rich musical bed by Rob Wallace who artfully wraps the flute around accompaniment and solos unheard of in true Native American music. Will Clipman, another non-Native American, brings an almost divine consciousness with his organic and insightful drumming styles. He uses Taos drums, drums from Africa and South American drums on the album.
