Da' Sage Flowz Precise (Born Carlos J. Sepulveda on December 29, 1981 in Queens, New York) is a Puerto Rican Emcee/Producer, founder of the Puerto Rico based crew/Independent Record label Art of Skillz. Da' Sage started writing at the age of 12 influenced by artist such as KRS-One, Rakim, Gang Starr & Nas. Entering the Puerto Rican hip hop scene in 1997 with Mind Dwella, Boogie One & EZ Beat as a members of a group called Da' BDF, Daâ Sage emerged as one of the best lyricist to bless the Mic releasing two mixtapes; âMixologyâ in 1997 & âDaâ B.D.F.â in 1998. At this same time he started working alongside the Freestyle Assoc, helping organize several B-boy Jams, Emcee Showcases & block parties. Later on during his young career he formed alongside Mind Dwella, The Host 224 & Apokalypze a group called DAPS, this was short lived as each of the members went their separate ways but Daâ Sage eventually released all of the unreleased material on âThe Assembly Final Battlegroundâ Mixtape in 2004. With his blue collar attitude & incredible work ethic Da' Sage Flowz Precise established himself as one of the premier artist in Puerto Rico's underground Hip Hop scene, gaining the attention of different artist & producers in the industry. That same year he signed a Management deal with Kaydean Media International & was on the verge signing his first major record deal but the negotiations did not go as planned. After his contract with Kaydean Media International expired he decided to use all the experience learned & go as an independent artist releasing his first solo project titled âThe Birthâ in 2006. After his first solo release the work never stopped leading to the release of the âJust Promoâ LP in 2008, âStrictly Promotionalâ Mixtape in July 2009 & his third solo project âWelcome to the Undergroundâ in 2010
