R.U.O.K's sound is an array of moody and melodic to raw, energetic rock using influences ranging from 80's post punk/New Wave to 90's Indie/Alternative all the while shaping it in to an original and unique modern style.

Details:
R.U.O.K met and formed in 2001 at an art and music university in New York. All four members(Jared Apuzzo - Drums, Keith Kelly - Guitar/Vocals, Jeff Labarbera - Bass, Mike Murphy - Guitar) found themselves immersed in the same music and art scenes, it was obvious that this was the creative combination that each was looking for.

In the winter of 2002 they moved into williamsburg Brooklyn where they continued writing and performing. They're high energy,frantically explosive and sometimes subdued approach toward melody and performance immediately set them apart from the other bands of N.Y.C and Brooklyn.

R.U.O.K has written and self produced three independent albums including,
"Somethings Sometimes" (2004) and "Arctic Warmth" (2005)
