Stendhal Syndrome (Rusty Eyeâs fourth release) is an album that, how its name clearly states, creates a series of different feelings and sensations; the perfect blend of everything rock and metal. They can be referred as âAlternative Metalâ but not because of the grunge movement, but because they distill the pure essence of music with edge and can only be described as a different metal style, alternative.

Produced and engineered by Miss Randall (also the drummer and vocalist in the band), Stendhal Syndrome was created in the sense of well-known classic rock and metal bands and experimenting with different recording techniques. This gave birth to a new sound that brings back the essence of music of different moments in time without sounding âretroâ.

Even though Rusty Eye is a three-piece band (The Baron, Miss Randall, Mr. Rust), their music when live and in recording is full of dynamics, parts and mood changes that fill in the gaps and leaves a lot to the imagination; a band not to be missed.
