Ruth Kasckow biography

Ruth Kasckow holds a Bachelor of Arts from Goucher College and an MFA from California Institute of the Arts in Music and Flute Performance. Residing in the Los Angeles area for the past 25 years, Ms. Kasckow has performed as a freelance musician in local orchestras, chamber groups and recording work. Ruth is currently teaching and performing, as well as working on a book of flute duets for the younger student. In her private studio, she uses a unique teaching method incorporating traditional music training with the Suzuki Technique and Bodymapping for fluid and effortless playing. Her first CD French Impressions for Flute was released in 2004.

Christopher Brennan bio

Christopher Brennan holds a Master of Music degree from Yale University and a Doctorate of Music from USC. He has established himself in the Southern California area as a chamber musician and teacher, serving on the faculty of Chapman University and maintaining private studios in Pasadena and West Hollywood. Chirstopherâs abilities also extend into the world of composition. His Sonata for Flute and Piano has been performed in Los Angeles and his music for the Film, âHearts as Oneâ was honored at the Heartland Film Festival.
