Details:
For over 20 years The Righteous Mothers have provided the thinking woman's and man's musical soundtrack to help us through our absurd and sometimes overwhelming lives.

With original songs that range from the unbelievable illogic of some supreme court decisions to the simple act of comforting and forgiving one's self, the Righteous Mothers remind us that we are not alone.

These are not social critics masquerading as musicians.

The Righteous Mothers are a quartet of women who phrase their sentiments in marvelously inventive music that ranges from rock to jazz to gospel to blues to folk, all with tight and complex harmonies, backed with guitar, keyboards, bass and percussion.

A Million Things is The Righteous Mothers 5th recording.

It is preceeded by two other CD's "Pesky Angels" and "All the Rage...and none of the calories" and two earlier cassettes, "Stand Up" and "The Righteous Mothers".

A Million Things was relesed in February 2002 and is the best representation of the zaniness yet seriousness of the group to date.

It's a fun, upbeat CD with all original tunes written by the group except for their jarring and mournful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner (which was arranged years before the Sept.11th attack).
