Backed by her four-piece band (Jeff Logan - lead guitar; Matt Molino - bass; Gilles Nadon - drums), rock/pop singer/songwriter Amanda Rheaume has been winning over enthused music-followers with a booty busting rock-pop funk-flavored fusion.

In six richly arranged tracks, the bandâs latest EP Even When presents an evolution, both lyrically and sonically, from Amandaâs debut EP Unravelling. This energetic recording ranges from the impassioned single âEven When Theyâre Greenâ to the edgy âDonât Wanna Be Your Girlâ to the adventurous and infectious grooves of âOverdueâ and âThe Storyâ. Tracked at Pebble Studios and mastered at Metal Works by Nick Blagona (Deep Purple, Rush, Tea Party, The Police), Even When combines rock, pop and the occasional funk influences, into a powerful fusion of sophisticated grooves.

Since the early days as a sixteen year old when Amanda was invited onstage at Lilith Fair in Toronto by Sarah McLachlan, The Indigo Girls and The Dixie Chicks, Rheaumeâs songwriting has matured incredibly. In 2003, Unravelling picked up airplay on CBC Radio across Canada, as well as selected stations in Ottawa, Toronto and the Maritimes. The song âPiggy Backâ landed on the 2004 âRed Albumâ presented by AVR, Standard Radio, and Maple Music Recordings, garnering attention from MUCH NEWS on Much Music, the nationâs music station.
