Description:
A cinematic crossover between Paco de Lucia, Amon Tobin and John Zorn.
8 MP3 Songs
ELECTRONIC: Down Tempo, ELECTRONIC: Breakbeat/Breaks
Details:
Remus was born on October 12th, 1967, in Gdansk, Poland. At the age of sixteen he escaped the brutal rule of is father, who was a match-factory owner and who would have liked nothing more than to see his oldest son Remus following him in his footsteps. Remus left his birthplace with just his guitar and some money he managed to set aside during his life, heading west. After a long and dangerous journey through Portugal, Spain and Italy he finally ended up in Haarlem, Holland.
After he finished his study for Social worker Remus finally took his chances and put all his money on his music production skills. Thanks to his teenage years spent in a match factory, chopping big logs up into delicately formed matches, he had mastered a fine finger skill, perfect for use in his guitar play and his know twisting.
Through an old comrade of his father, Miklai Propovkopf, Remus got in toutch with Humanworkshop Records. He sent in a demo tape filled with noisy guitar stuff, but the A&R at Humanworkshop dug it, as long as he would just keep his mouth shut. With a fat contract in his pocket he was allowed to participate on the Humanworkshop #1 CD, bringing in four of the fourteen tracks featured on the Album.
