Singer/Songwriter John Restas was born in Toronto Ontario Canada.
John has spent most of his life in Burlington Ontario Canada.
He has performed in many festivals and charity events in Southern Ontario.such as Kempenfest in Barrie Ont.The Sound of Music festival in Burlington Ont.
as well as Soupfest in Hamilton Ont.(3 times)
John has 4 musical releases to his credit.
A 4 song EP with the band Sandinista in 1982.
10 song CD entitled (Angel Skies )with the band Sacred Rain in 1994.
10 song self titled CD (Hear me honestly) in 1999.
3 song self titled CD single (3 From me) in 2005.

John along with his bands have appeared on many television shows including Breakfast Television on City TV in Toronto Ontario 3 times.(Twice with the band Sacred Rain)as well as Up & Coming on CKVR in Barrie Ontario which aired 2 videos across Canada.
John and his bands have been the supporting act for well known artists such as Goddo(twice)Junkhouse,King Biscuit Boy,Doug & the Slugs,Teenage Head (unplugged)and many others.John has also received radio airplay on CBC radio,and CKPC radio in Brantford Ont.Canada.
Currently in the works is a (a follow up to Hear me honestly) full length CD on Rude Clown Music which is owned by longtime musical collaborator and bandmate Todd Pyper.John's Band currently goes under the name,The John Restas Band and features Todd Pyper on Bass & Vocals & Paul Dickinson on Drums & Percusion
