In 2001, Brett Line and two friends started a band called Semp. Through the next four years they played countless shows and released two EP's. During this time, Brett began to record solo songs and finished two solo albums (although he never released them). In 2005, the band had to break up with two members (Brett Line and Mike Douaire) leaving their hometown of Fairfax, VA for Orlando, FL to study film and music. There Brett started recording solo again with a $150 audio interface and a few instruments. In 2006, Brett finished his third album "The Breeze Blinds the Burn". This would be the first album he would release on internet sites such as Myspace.
