Description:
(ID 1279393)
in partnership with CDbaby
A song cycle featuring music about global warming and climate change.
7 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Progressive Rock, ROCK: Psychedelic
Details:
ELEMENTS is the newest cd from progressive rock artist Bruce Main. Building on the foundation of his earlier solo releases TRACKS (2004) and LAYERS (2005) this work accomplishes something rarely seen these days, breaking new stylistic ground while remaining true to the vibe of his previous music. While not a concept album per se, the song cycle is based around the themes of global warming & climate change.
ELEMENTS features a talented cast of characters including Brian Phraner on bass (as usual), Freddy Krumins and Mark Phraner on lead vocals, Don Freeborn on the drums, with guest appearances from Matt Main on bass clarinet and Bruce Jones on piano.
Undeniably progressive yet accessible to the masses, this CD could be the one that brings prog back into the mainstream of the commercial music scene after a 30 year hiatus.
