After one year of jamming, playing shows, and recording an EP (The Ball Game, 2005), Brilliance in a Bun has matured into the band they are today. With styles ranging from alternative/rock, punk, jazz, ska, and even some metal and hip-hop just for kicks, this musically diverse band out of Lisle, IL is not afraid to try new ideas.And the was certainly the case with their debut full length album Piso Mojado. The album displays a smorgasbord of styles which is tied together with that familiar B.I.A.B. sound. Consisting of five high school students, BIAB is fueled by both youthful energy and the occasional hint of immaturity. Still recording and gigging makes this band one not quick to die out, and who knows what the future might hold for such brilliance...
