Original SoCal Stylee...
Established in 1998, the BADFISH crew continues to carry the torch of SoCal's reggae-dub community. These rude boys blend the Santa Ana streets with Jamaica's island riddims to paint a true picture of West Coast lifestyle and culture. Having played alongside Jimmy Cliff, Half-Pint, Sizzla, Long Beach Dub All-Stars, Third World, Poncho Sanchez, and many more, Badfish sits in its rightful place among the genre's best.
Most recently, the Badfish album "SOUNDBWOY KILLAS" was re-released in Japan by Surfrock International. The album has been climbing the sales charts overseas and helped spread the regional Cali buzz worldwide. This has ignited Badfish founder and lead vocalist Ruben Salazar to enlist new musicians to stretch the dynamics of the band's already-versatile sound on the follow-up album due out this summer.
