âSheâs only how old?â is the typical comment you hear after a listener has heard thirteen year old Caroline Walker sing. Growing up in Memphis, her music loving parents immersed her in all types of music as is common in this melting pot of great southern musical styles. At age two she began performing for her family on the fireplace mantel, adorning her momâs jewelry and creating lyrics to songs as she performed for her captive audience. She began taking dance and harp lessons at age four and piano at age six. She grew up participating in the 30,000 member Bellevue Church Performing Arts program under the tutelage of the countryâs leading Minister of Music Director Jim Whitmire. He was so impressed by her voice range and stage appearance he featured her with two other talented girls in a special scene of the Singing Christmas Tree. This popular Memphis stage performance was viewed by over 40,000 people during its eight performances. It was after this performance that Caroline realized the stage was a place she felt very comfortable.
After several years of dance and vocal performances in churches and other special events she landed a role as a âMunchkinâ in the Broadway touring performance of âThe Wizard of Ozâ. She and ten other Munchkins were featured in several scenes at the historic Memphis Orpheum playhouse.
Caroline is proud to be one of âAlâs Galsâ as she presents her debut pop CD with former Cool and the Gang member Al Paris. Mr. Paris is devoting his time and talents to producing several of Memphisâ young talents. This gifted pop performer has her sights set on developing her stage/TV performance, song and dance. Talent
This vibrant, talented teenager learns dance routines and stage lines very quickly. She lights up on stage and has the biggest smile of all. Her pleasing personality makes her very teachable. Caroline has a beautiful soprano voice and enjoys a variety of music.

The aspiring singer/actress was recently chosen to perform as a Munchkin in the traveling Broadway play âWizard of Ozâ. The play had 10 sold out performances at the Memphis Orpheum.

Caroline presently is a member of the Performing Arts Center in Germantown where she takes ballet, tap and jazz. She has been in several local stage performances including a recent âNutcrackerâ performance.

She performed in the Bellevue âSinging Christmas Treeâ production. She was featured in a key scene with two other girls. Her thirteen performances were seen by 50000+ people.

Personal
This vibrant brown eyed thirteen year old is in the eighth grade at Westminster Academy and lives in Memphis, TN with her musically gifted family. Two brothers play guitar, violin, and piano and are accomplished singers with acting experience. Her father was in a local rock group and sang gospel for many years. Her mother gives harp and piano lessons.

She was selected to sing with the West Tennessee Youth Choir at the Opryland Hotel performance in Nashville backing country artist Ronnie Millsap and Opera singer Kaleen Esperian.
