At the young age of 11, this Saginaw, Michigan native started singing for his church choir growing into a young man blessing everyone with his smooth and sultry voice. His journey took off while performing in different groups and competing in various talent shows and community events.

Tee Tatum rehearsed intensely to market himself for a career in the music industry and in 2002 he made it through two hard auditions for the American Idol contest and made it all the way to California. Though the results were not what he expected it did not stop him from pressing on to fulfill what he thought at that time to be his dream. He has been the grand winner in multiple competitions and has performed for numerous venues all over Atlanta. Through his determination in 2004, Tee Tatum sung for the Detroit Pistons Championship Rally and then was placed in a position as one of Keith Sweats background singers for the 2005 Summer Sweat Tour.

Tee Tatum toured and shared the stage with the likes of New Edition, The OâJays, Frankie Beverly and Maze, Ashford and Simpson, Charlie Wilson, Ne-Yo, and many others over the years. Tee Tatum has also written songs for various artists such as Keith Sweat, Omarion, Frankie J, Usher, and many others. Tee Tatum was also selected and featured as the guest artist to serenade birthday girl Sheree Whitfield on the reality show âThe Real Housewives of Atlantaâ.

Tee Tatum is also the older brother of Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley. Tee Tatum recorded a song entitled "Hero" in paying tribute to his brother that the world will enjoy.
