After spending years in caves, clanging and humming, Brian Bourque has finally shaped his musical vision into an authentic and convincing force. Returning home after living in Chile, he joined with three incredible musicians to fill out the skeletal sounds that he outlined with his voice and guitars. They recently finished recording Square One, an EP that captures the depth of the compositions, the hope of the lyrics, and the individual talents and playing styles of each musician. The disc features the stellar bass playing of Karl Messerschmidt, drumming by Mike Macbeth, and percussion by Bob Rush. Square One is now available for purchase at www.thebflatproject.com.
