âMy video director, Pete Coggan from 42 Productions called me a couple months ago saying he was going to Puerto Rico for a few days to hang with some old college buddiesâ says Anonymous. âWrite a tune and lets shoot a video for a couple days!!!â
âSo thats what we did. The vibe of this song was a freeflow of ideas spur of the moment. I really wanted to make the sound cinematic and trippy, and I especially wanted to play live steel drum. I also wanted to juxtapose a live jazz âElvin Jonesâ drum groove against a static danceclub drum machine beatââ¦the end result: Vibewise!
âI was TOTALLY inspired by Puerto Ricoâ¦Coffee, Rum, Reggaeton music, thick jungle, beautiful beaches, fresh herbsâ¦. We had a blast shooting the video, and I had a blast making the songâ.
