Singer,songwriter,musician,
originally from Cork city, Ireland,
now living in the Algarve
in the south of Portugal.
Jon started playing guitar at the age of 15
and went on to play in various bands
in Ireland and the UK.
He has been performing solo for a few years
on the pub/club circuit throughout Ireland,
Europe and the U.S.A.,
sometimes singing 7 nights a week
for 5 or 6 months at a time.
Jon has always lived for music
and now with the release of his
debut solo album life is a miracle
he is finally pouring himself heart
and soul into his own songs.
Widely regarded amongst his peers as
one of the brightest songwriters of today,
Jons musical experience is obvious
in his versatile approach to songwriting,
his compositions ranging from
the anthemic to the intimate.
He has played all the instruments
on this album; vocals, acoustic guitar,
electric guitar, bass guitar, piano,
keyboards,strings and drums.
The album was recorded on an 8 track
home studio in Portugal,
then mixed at Satellite Studios in Cork.
Produced by Jon and self-financed,
there are 11 tracks and
the whole album has a very positive feel to it.
