Lana Kim primarily made this collection for her conservatory professors and fellow Phd candidates as a way of showing respect for them, the profession, the seriousness of music, and as a display of her talent on loan from God. To the average listener there may not be the sensation of enjoyment evident in her many other lighter, more melodic albums. Once, a slightly envious but aggressive student quipped about her teacher (Lana) playing some pops, "You know, anybody could play that stuff, why don't you play something that requires a little work?" Well, fair student, this is for you.....

With the exception of track 3, 5, 7, and 8 that were recorded in The Art Center, the remainder are all from our Sustainable Music studio housing one Steinway & Sons 10 foot grand, one Yamaha Clavier and one Fazioli F-308. There are video clips of each of these pieces that will be put on the social networks soon.

All of these pieces (plus 30 more) are required pieces for Lana'a students. Soon, these students will be added to the social networks, as well.
