The Big Log were formed by childhood friends Jon Talbot & Elliott Hopkins in 1997 and spent the next 3 years planning their debut CD release by recording 34 tracks on a 4 track tape machine in Hopkin's apartment in Rockport, Massachusetts. The next 2 years were spent recording "get the rabbit ready" at Cove Studios in Rockport and was released as a limited edition CD (25 copies) in 2002 on the dogtown productions imprint. "Get The Rabbit Ready" has become a cult favorite with musicians and poets. If you are a fan of The Beatles "White Album" The Beach Boys, "Pet Sounds" or any XTC you should grab this dreamy-pop-musical gem while you still can!
