HerdMics Entertainment, Inc. was a mental dream in 2002. Almost three years later, it became a reality. As an artist, Alias, real name Patrick C. Dean, Sr., started out with nothing...no beats, no label and no support. He had three friends who came up rapping and singing and decided to start their own label, which never got off the ground.

Though they performed talent shows and once produced their own, they were never able to knock down the doors of entertainment. Soon, all went their separate ways; two went on to finish college, the other one signed on as a R&B artist with No Jack Records. AS for Alias, he started ghost producing for Out Tha House Productions. Eventually, that became a dead end for him, so he then decided it was time to start his own label.

After careful consideration and research, he knew that HerdMics Entertainment, Inc. was his final destination. His background and life experiences became the themes to his music and with that, he single-handedly wrote, performed, co-produced and put his very first album...Change Gone Come.
