Founded in 1995 By Piero Amadeo Infante, leader of the bay area's infamous FREAKY EXECUTIVES, (also avalible on CD baby) and later the singer for LOS MOCOSOS, and And Xaime Casillas, the brilliant Cholo Bass Player, LOS ANGELITOS like all his other bands, would win a California Music Award, and tour nationally. The band began on a dare in Berkeley when The incredible Mexican Bass player XAIME arrived, in Oakland to visit with Piero.
This band, Like the freaky Executives, would become a mainstay of the live music party scene for several years, until Piero went on to form LOS MOCOSOS. Jaime went on the become the most in-demand set painter in the Hollywood Movie scene, and the two are currently considering reforming the group just for fun.
Sweaty crowds, loud amps, shots of tequilia, and a take no prisoners attitude.....that was los angelitos. Enjoy!
These Rare cuts can be found nowhere else and represent the best of the "LEFTISTACIDLATINFUNK" That is Piero's signature sound.
