Details:
This eclectic work , describes a journey that goes from dense urban landscapes, to open and cosmic textures, it is the debut album of the mexican composers Andrés Argil and Alejandro Saqui , with guest musicians that range from Antonio Russek (contemporary electronic composer ) to Rafael Salgado (harmonica player of the rock group El Tri ) ; and from Alejandro Escuer ( contemporary ensamble Onix ) and Martha Serrano ( "Carlos Chavez" Symphony Orchestra ) to Alejandro Colavita (electronic project Tachyon ) and Andrés De Robina ( Bird Quartet ). The cover art, was made by the artist Carlos Cons. Also, it contains an enhanced track by Alejandro Cons , which is a remarkable piece of work.
"Interesting electronic recording in which the multi-instrumentalists Andrés Argil and Alejandro Saqui achieve to create subjugant atmospheres and atractive sounscapes. Theres no abuse of the technology in this production; instead it serves as complement to the experimentation, at times delirant and almost zappiana that the ensemble does."
Henry Salgao -Músico Pro Magazine-
"The young couple Argil / Saqui, take us by surprise with Vecindario global. Fourteen compositions that goes through several ways of experimental music and improvisation, achieve that the album took place between the best releases of independent productions in Mexico in 2002"
Oscar Adad - Voodoo Jazz. Radio Ibero 90.9-
