Details:
Energy. That is the one essential ingredient that holds together the project known as Worth Every Scar. The love for music, live shows, and the energy that is exchanged in this act has been the glue that holds this band together. This was evident in the first jam session, in their recording, and it is definitely evident in their live performances.
A relatively young band, WES has only been together since February of 2004. Since its inception, this power house act has played extensively through the West Coast and Mid West. Over time, the band has experimented with its every-evolving style to come up with a sound that would be as infectious as it is potent.

The Worth Every Scar sound is a fusion of the different musical backgrounds that they share. Cesarâs experimental sound can be heard in his intros and his solos. His versatility is what gives the band substance. Sicky brings the subtle air of punk rock in his drum beats which gives the music its raw sound. The heavy riffs come from the metal bass lines brought by Israel. The package is completed by the vocals. Ericâs vocals range from a free-flow, to a soulful melodic singing voice, to an angry-guttural scream. It is the range of different musical qualities, styles, and textures that give the WES sound its fullness.

The main focus of WES is to produce and share energy with the audience and listener. There is no underlying political agenda, no pretentious attitude, just the love of powerful angry music and its energy. It is as simple as that.
