This Jersey born writer was born one cold winter morning on February 16, 1982. Growing up he was faced with many adversities and challenges that molded his destiny. Through his life, he had to cope living with his fatherâs drug addiction, the death of his two aunts and losing his best friend in a fatal car accident at the young age of seven-teen. Ever since He and Dan were young they owned a tape player, two turntables and DJ equipment. Hip Hop music lived within them and flowed through their veins. Artist such as Das EFX, Lords of the Underground, Rakim, Black Moon, Big L, Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Mobb Deep and Kool G Rap influenced them. Searching for lyrics and printing them out was a hobby the two shared, not to mention the countless hours He and Dan would spend dedicated to memorizing the lyrics as they kept their fingers on the rewind button. At this time, He and Danny began to find their place. They acquired their first pair of turntables and instrumental records at the age of fourteen. Even though the writing wasnât Trilogy's main focus, Dan kept Him motivated and shared with him the love of music and lyrics. On December 6, 1998, god needed an angel.
After Dan's passing, notebooks began to fill and the pen that He wrote with soon became his new best friend. With that, Trilogy was born, a name given to Him from Danny due to the versatility he possessed. At the age of seventeen He began writing poems, letters, and rhymes to try and reinvent the years that were lost of his best friends. In the year of 2000, Trilogy went off the college on a track scholarship. In his first year of college his roommate, also from Jersey noticed Trilogyâs talent and asked him why he hasnât gone behind the microphone to record any of his writings. He then encouraged Trilogy to record some of his lyrics over a computer microphone late one night. Thatâs when the magic happened and the adrenaline began to surge. After three years of college, Trilogy, although having received good grades, decided that college wasnât for him and took his knowledge and passion straight to the booth. In 2007 Trilogy officially stepped foot into a studio for the first time. With over one-hundred and thirty tracks recorded and books filled with lyrics, he continues to pursue his dream. Trilogy is currently working on his sophomore album called "Step Into the Light". Trilogy has now broadened his horizons and worked with legendary artist Kool G Rap, famous producer Domingo Beats, artist J-Hood and more to come such as Ras Kass and Canibus.
