Details:
On March 10th, 1991 in Los Angeles, California, Deshon (J-REAL) Jordan was born. Shortly after his family moved to Las Vegas where they would live for only a short time, J-REAL began his music career by getting involved in church activities and soon led over his choir writing and performing gospel and rap music. He then moved to what they call âThe Dirty Southâ in Atlanta, Georgia. Ending middle school and beginning high school in the city of Decatur, he met future group mates, âSlimâ and âK.â Eventually, they would start their own hip hop group called âYoung âNâ Heartlessâ and thus began recording their first of many demos.
Thereafter, they would enter and win countless talent shows, taking advantage of being well-known and having exposure from previous shows as well as contacts. Young âNâ Heartless was determined to build their resume and do much more than just that; by making appearances at V-103 Block Party with DJ Greg Street, numerous shows out of state (i.e. The Multi-Fest in West Virginia), just to list a few. As two members departed, searching for their destined paths, J-REAL would continue as a solo act. He created his own promotion team known as âHeartless Entertainment,â and recruited spunky, determined, hard-working, youthful individuals to help promote a variety of venues/events. Inspired by his drive, his peers would help him in another way, by calling and requesting his music on the radio, promoting what J-REAL would soon call the â100 MOVEMENT!â After recording his first single â100â and joining forces with promoter BIG DINO of âMetro Boyz Entertainment,â he shot his first low budget video, which was soon posted on Myspace. Already well-known on MySpace, he received 1,000 plays within the first 24 hours, making a stir in Atlanta that could not be ignored. J-REAL was everywhere, being played at nightclubs such as Strokers, Pin Ups, Platinum 21, 24K, Pure, Taboo2, Belushiâs, Sante Fe, Velvet Room, Primetime, and the Blueroom. He received nothing but good responses, and two thumbs up from music lovers. Working hard to press up more cdâs shirts, fliers, posters, and anything that could help promote the movement, surprisingly the song leaked on the radio and started to receive air time. The highly successful street team âHeartless Entâ has already established itself among the teens as the leading event producer/ promotion team to the young in the ATL. It has since applied some of those same promotional principles on a mass scale in the launching of its artist J-Real... and its working! J-Real would then first try his promotion team out with his first single âFresh Walkâ featuring Lil Playboii from Cash Camp by shooting his first unsigned music video. They posted the video online through Worldstarhiphop.com and Youtube and received over 2 million views. After that great success he dropped his first mixtape with DJ Holiday of the Aphilliates entitled âReal Recognize Realâ and has just released his second mix-CD appropriately entitled âKing of Teensâ. The CD boasts 21 BLAZING tracks and is hosted by Atlantaâs V103âs Lil Bankhead & Block ENT. J-Real presently has three singles playing on radio around the country, âEverybody Luv Meâ, featuring Rich Boy, âNot A Thangâ, featuring Travis Porter and âWavyâ featuring Gorilla Zoe. All three smash hits are on âThe King of Teens Mixtapeâ it is an incredible CD. J-Real is many things. He is smart and extremely talented with a magnetic personality, a true visionary who seem to create his own path. Our industry is in transition and now more than ever every investment must count. In this sense J-Real is the obvious choice, an artist of the future, the genesis of a super star, destine to reshape history. One just has to look to recognize that he is the REAL deal. Help shape history; join the movementâ¦J-REAL.
