From a young age he harnessed his party anthem skills as a front man for a local group. After learning how shifty and shady the music industry was, coupled with some difficult life experiences, he decided to put music on the back burner as he pursued a professional career.

After a serious car accident which left Qpid bed-ridden and in rehabilitation for almost two years, his life was turned upside down once more. The only thing that kept him focused was his love for music. Guided by this passion and recognizing the opportunity for some new blood in the hip-hop game, Qpid took the leap of faith by re-positioning himself as a solo artist in the scene. First step: re-building a new team to develop a solid foundation and ensure the priority remains consistent and focused-making great music.

In 2010, Qpid partnered with Gab Coore of Big G Management and signed an independent label deal with The Office Entertainment Group. This was his first step back onto the stage and re-kindling a relationship with the industry he just could not leave behind him. â I love watching people dance and go wild in the clubs to my music.
