"Emigrants guide" (the album) started off as just the single track "Truckee lake". Encouragement from my friends and family and an interest in the Donner Party led to nine additional songs. The album was made from 2005 to 2009 and includes all of these songs plus the instrumental track "Headed west" by Chris Callister.
Much of the recording was done by James Locke at Mission Hall Studios in Edinburgh during 2008 and 2009. Cover art used with kind permission from the David Rumsey Map Collection at davidrumsey.com
