Dve Kytary is Czech for Two Guitars and is made up of classical guitarist Don Strom and classical guitarist Dan Zbytovsky. The duo is located in Vancouver, BC, Canada and started playing together in 2008. They play an eclectic mix of Latin, Gypsy, European, Russian, Classical and Multicultural music. They perform widely in the Vancouver area and have been featured on radio.

The idea for âChristmas Favourites for Two Classical Guitarsâ came up in the summer of 2010. We both love Christmas music and our research showed that there is a lack of well done instrumental guitar music for the holiday. Over the summer, we started arranging the music and practicing the pieces out on Danâs deck. OK, we did get some weird looks from neighbours and friends but you can not live your live based on what other people think. âHey you guys, Christmas music in July?â

We worked with North Vancouver producer Stu Will who had done our first album âSmall Talkâ and again he worked his magic for us. Thanks also to photographer Risha Golby for her stunning cover photo.
