Traquair is 28 year old, Glasgow based singer songwriter. He has been described as the missing link between Belle & Sebastian and Billy Joelâ and âTeenage Fanclubs cheeky Younger Brother. He released 3 e.pâs in 2004 â âLevelledâ, âThe Three Side of Perceptionâ and âHello Goodtimes Goodbyeâ. He spent most of 2005 in New Zealand, working and travelling, writing songs and painting. He returned to Glasgow in 2006 and recorded his debut long playing record âWaiting for the Day to Beginâ in three weeks. He writes all the songs, plays all the instruments and produces his music himself. A truly independent artist. His debut record, flirts with folk and pop and comes out sounding like Traquair, a summer record for the broken hearted people who like to smile.
