Debut CD by folk singer/songwriter who weaves great tales and melodies with his guitar and harmonica

11 MP3 Songs
FOLK: Folk Pop, FOLK: Political

Details:
A guitar and a harmonica, a scorching summer, and a cool basement- add to this an infatuation with acoustic Neil Young and classic Dylan, and you have the setting and ingredients that put Trevor Caswell to work on his own musical journey. Likened to the classic folk singers, his music is highlighted by disarming, and socially conscious lyrics alongside beautiful songcraft.

Currently basing himself out of Kamloops, BC, Trevor's shows range from intimate solo performances to appearances with a full band including cello and violin. His debut CD, Serenade was released in 2001 and was followed in 2003 by Another Something. A 2006 release entitled Mr. Poirier has been described as having "a delightfully progressive, gentle feel" and with a more band oriented sound it shows the breadth of his style and influences.

"An absolute pleasure to hear" live, Trevor is an engaging and humorous performer who has appeared on stages from BC to Ontario, and been featured on CTVs Canada AM, as well as a number of CBC Radio Programs. Campus/community radio is also a supporter, and Trevors music can be heard on stations across the country. He tours extensively throughout Western Canada and has appeared at the Long Days Night Music Festival in Swift Current, SK, twice at the Artswells Festival in Wells, BC, and at the 2006 Komasket Music Festival in Vernon, BC.
